CONSUMER TERMS OF SERVICE
Effective Date: May 4, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern Your access to and use of the reportascam.com platform (the "Platform"), operated by REPORT A SCAM LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, with an address at 5830 E 2nd St Ste 7000, Casper, Wyoming 82609. "Company" means REPORT A SCAM LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, with an address at 5830 E 2nd St Ste 7000, Casper, Wyoming 82609. In these Terms, "Consumer," "You," and "Your" mean the individual accepting these Terms. By creating an account, submitting a report, requesting Administrative Services, or otherwise using the Platform, You agree to be bound by these Terms. If You do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. About the Platform
1.1 Platform and Services. "Platform" means the technology platform operated by the Company at reportascam.com, including associated websites, applications, portals, tools, and services. The Platform is a technology and administrative resolution platform through which Consumers may submit reports, organize Consumer-supplied information, communicate with Businesses, request Administrative Services, and share permitted experiences with other Consumers. "Consumer" means an individual who creates an account on the Platform and submits a report or requests Administrative Services. "Business" means a person, entity, or organization identified in a report submitted through the Platform as the subject of a Consumer's Opinion Report or Transactional Report. "Administrative Services" means technology-based and administrative services provided by the Company through the Platform at the Consumer's direction, including organization of Consumer-supplied information, transmission of Claim Notices, facilitation of communications, transmission of offers and responses without alteration, recording of Claim Status, and other nonlegal services described in the applicable agreement. Administrative Services do not include legal advice, legal representation, claim ownership, settlement acceptance or rejection, filing or prosecution of proceedings, or receipt of settlement funds.
1.2 Platform Characterization. The Company provides technology and administrative services. The Company does not provide legal advice, select legal claims or remedies, represent consumers, or own consumer Claims. Consumers retain ownership and control of their Claims.
1.3 Report Types. The Platform offers two types of reports. "Opinion Report" means a Consumer-submitted report expressing the Consumer's opinion about a Business or transaction. Opinion Reports may be displayed publicly, subject to the Consumer Terms of Service. "Transactional Report" means a Consumer-submitted report that describes a specific commercial transaction and may form the basis of a Claim. Transactional Report narratives and supporting documents are not published without separate consent.
2. Account Registration
2.1 Eligibility. You must be at least eighteen (18) years old and a resident of the United States to create an account.
2.2 Accuracy. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary to maintain its accuracy.
2.3 Account Security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of Your account credentials and for all activity conducted through Your account. You agree to notify the Company immediately of any unauthorized use of Your account.
2.4 One Account Per Person. You may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to submit duplicate or fraudulent reports is prohibited and grounds for termination.
3. Report Submission
3.1 Submitting a Report. You may submit a report about any Business operating in the United States. Reports are submitted through the Platform's intake process, which collects the Business name, the nature of the dispute, the amount in dispute, if applicable, and any supporting documentation.
3.2 Truthfulness. You represent and warrant that all information You submit in connection with a report is true, accurate, and complete to the best of Your knowledge. You shall not knowingly submit false, misleading, fabricated, or materially exaggerated information. Submitting materially false information is a violation of these Terms and may result in account termination and removal of Your report.
3.3 Report Classification. The Company classifies each report as either a Transactional Report or an Opinion Report based on the information provided. Classification may be assisted by artificial intelligence tools and is subject to human review. If You disagree with the classification of Your report, You may request a reclassification review pursuant to Section 11.
3.4 Automated Classification. Classification may use automated tools subject to human review. Where required or offered, the Consumer may select human-only review, request information about the classification, correct relevant data, challenge the result, and request reassessment. Automated outputs do not initiate litigation, determine legal rights, or make a final non-viability decision.
3.5 Transactional Reports and Administrative Services. If a report is classified as a Transactional Report, the Consumer may request administrative resolution services under a separate Claim Services Authorization. The Consumer retains ownership and settlement control. "Claim Services Authorization" means the agreement between the Consumer and the Company under which the Consumer authorizes the Company to provide Administrative Services with respect to a Claim. The Claim Services Authorization does not assign the Claim, grant a power of attorney, or transfer settlement authority to the Company. "Claim" means a Transactional Report submitted by a Consumer who has requested Administrative Services under a Claim Services Authorization. The Consumer retains ownership and settlement control of the Claim at all times. The Claim Services Authorization, if executed, governs the Administrative Services for that Claim.
3.6 Opinion Reports. If Your report is classified as an Opinion Report, it may be published to the Business's public profile subject to the content standards in Section 4 and the publication terms in Section 5. Opinion Reports are not assigned to the Company. No report is assigned to the Company, and an Opinion Report is not subject to the Claim Services Authorization process unless the Consumer separately submits a Transactional Report.
4. Content Standards and User Conduct
4.1 Consumer Content. "Consumer Content" means information, data, text, images, documents, and other materials submitted to or through the Platform by or on behalf of a Consumer, including Opinion Reports, Transactional Reports, supporting documents, and communications.
4.2 Content License. The Consumer grants the Company a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, format, and transmit Consumer Content only as reasonably necessary to operate the Platform, provide requested services, maintain required records, and resolve disputes. Only Opinion Reports, approved Business responses, and general Claim status information may be displayed publicly. Transactional Report narratives and supporting documents will not be published without separate consent.
4.3 Prohibited Content. You shall not submit Consumer Content that: (a) is knowingly false, fabricated, or fraudulent; (b) contains defamatory statements of fact, as distinguished from statements of opinion; (c) contains threats of violence or harassment directed at any individual; (d) contains another person's personal information, including Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or medical information, without that person's consent; (e) contains proprietary, confidential, or trade secret information of a Business that You obtained through improper means; (f) infringes any third party's intellectual property rights; (g) contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code; or (h) violates applicable law.
4.4 Content Moderation. The Company reserves the right, but is not obligated, to review, edit for formatting only, or remove any Consumer Content that violates these Terms or that the Company, in good faith, considers to be obscene, harassing, threatening, or otherwise objectionable. The Company's content moderation activities are undertaken voluntarily in good faith pursuant to 47 U.S.C. § 230(c)(2) and do not create an obligation to review all Consumer Content or to remove any particular Consumer Content.
4.5 Third-Party Content. Reports, reviews, and opinions published on the Platform are submitted by individual Consumers and represent their personal experiences and views. The Company does not author, endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of Consumer-submitted content. The Company is not the information content provider of Consumer-submitted content as that term is used in 47 U.S.C. § 230.
4.6 Business Response Rights. Businesses whose profiles include Consumer Content may respond to reports and reviews through the Platform. The Company may review a response for compliance with these Terms and applicable law. An approved Business response will be published alongside the corresponding Consumer Content. A Business response does not alter, remove, or determine the classification or Claim Status of a Consumer's report.
5. Business Public Profiles
5.1 Profile Creation and Contents. The Company may create a public profile for a Business that is the subject of a Consumer report on the Platform. A Business public profile may contain only Business identifying information, Opinion Reports, approved Business responses, general Claim Status, and aggregated information about the Business's reports or Claims. "Claim Status" means a general, publicly displayable indicator of the current stage of a Claim (for example, "Submitted," "Notice Sent," "Response Received," "Resolution Process Active," or "Resolved"). Claim Status does not include the Claim amount, Transactional Report narrative, supporting documents, or Consumer identity.
5.2 Consumer Consent to Publication. By submitting an Opinion Report, You consent to publication of that Opinion Report on the Business's public profile. Your report will be attributed to Your first name and last initial, for example, "John S.," unless You request anonymous publication, in which case it will be attributed as "Verified Consumer." Your full name, email address, and other personally identifying information will not be displayed on the public profile.
5.3 Claim Status Publication. If the Consumer has requested administrative resolution services, the Company may publish general Claim status information that does not disclose the Claim amount, Transactional Report narrative, supporting documents, or Consumer identity.
5.4 Public Display Limits. Only Opinion Reports, approved Business responses, general Claim Status, and aggregated information may be displayed publicly. Transactional Report narratives, Claim amounts, and supporting documents will not be publicly displayed without separate consent. Publication decisions operate independently from whether a Business pays, settles, disputes, or rejects a Claim.
6. Identity Verification
6.1 Verification Requirement. Before a Consumer executes a Claim Services Authorization for a Transactional Report, the Consumer must complete identity verification through the Company's third-party identity verification service.
6.2 Verification Steps. Identity verification requires the Consumer to provide a valid government-issued photo identification and to complete any additional verification steps required by the third-party service.
6.3 Privacy and Biometric Notice. The Company uses third-party identity verification providers to process identity credentials. Identity data is processed subject to the Consumer Privacy Policy, the separate biometric notice provided when biometric data is collected or processed, and the identity verification provider's privacy practices.
6.4 Identification Records. The Company does not store copies of government-issued identification after verification is complete, except where retention is required by applicable law or reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, protect the Platform, or resolve a dispute.
7. Fees and Payments
7.1 Basic Services. Basic account creation, report submission, and standard administrative communication tools are provided without charge unless a fee is clearly disclosed and accepted before the service. Optional nonlegal services may be offered under separate purchase terms. Attorney services are governed and billed directly by independent counsel.
7.2 Optional Paid Services. The Company may offer optional paid Platform tools or nonlegal services under separate purchase terms presented before purchase. You are never required to purchase an optional paid service to create an account, submit a report, request Administrative Services, or use the standard administrative communication tools.
7.3 Court Filing Fees. If You choose to commence a court proceeding, court filing fees and other charges imposed by the court are Your responsibility and are not paid by the Company.
7.4 No Recovery-Based Fee. No fee charged by the Company is calculated as a percentage of a Consumer recovery, and no Company fee is deducted from any settlement.
7.5 Settlement Payment Routing. Any settlement payment must be made directly to the Consumer or through a licensed payment provider. The Company will not receive, hold, or transmit settlement funds for the Consumer. No Company fee is deducted from the Consumer's recovery.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 Platform IP. The Platform, including its design, software, features, content (excluding user-submitted Content), trademarks, logos, and documentation, is the intellectual property of the Company and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
8.2 Limited License. The Company grants You a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform for its intended purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on the Platform or any of its components.
8.3 Feedback. If You provide the Company with suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Platform ("Feedback"), You grant the Company a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, modify, and incorporate such Feedback into the Platform without any obligation to You.
9. Disclaimers
9.1 No Legal Services. The Company is not a law firm. The Company does not provide legal advice, legal opinions, or legal representation, does not select legal claims or remedies, and does not own or control any Consumer Claim.
9.2 No Guarantee of Outcome. THE COMPANY MAKES NO REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY REGARDING THE VALIDITY, MERIT, OR LIKELIHOOD OF SUCCESS OF ANY REPORT OR CLAIM. The Company does not guarantee that any report will result in a financial recovery, that any Business will respond to a communication, or that a Consumer's efforts in any court proceeding will produce a particular outcome. Consumers decide whether to accept or reject a settlement, and the Company does not make that decision.
9.3 Platform Availability. The Company provides the Platform on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The Company does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. The Company may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Platform at any time without notice.
9.4 Third-Party Services. The Platform may integrate with third-party services, including identity verification, electronic signature, payment processing, and artificial intelligence providers. The Company is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of third-party services.
10. Independent Attorneys
10.1 Independent Attorneys. At the Consumer's request, the Platform may provide information about independent attorneys. The Consumer and attorney independently determine whether to enter an attorney-client relationship. The attorney controls intake, conflicts review, legal analysis, strategy, scope, fees, and work product. Attorney fees are established and collected by the attorney under the engagement agreement. The Company does not receive or share attorney fees.
11. Platform Dispute Procedures
11.1 Classification Appeals. If You disagree with the classification of Your report as Transactional or Opinion, You may submit a reclassification request through the Platform within thirty (30) days of the classification decision. The Company will review Your request within fifteen (15) business days and provide a written determination. The Company's reclassification determination is final for Platform classification purposes and does not determine legal rights.
11.2 Content Disputes. If Your Consumer Content is removed or modified by the Company, You may submit a content dispute through the Platform within fifteen (15) days of the removal or modification. The Company will review Your dispute within ten (10) business days.
11.3 General Disputes. For any other dispute arising from Your use of the Platform, contact the Company at legal@reportascam.com. The Company will respond within fifteen (15) business days.
12. Limitation of Liability
12.1 Liability Cap. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company's aggregate liability arising from these Terms will not exceed the greater of amounts paid by the Consumer to the Company during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to liability or one hundred dollars ($100). This limitation does not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or liability that cannot be limited by law.
12.2 Exclusion of Certain Damages. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL.
13. Indemnification
13.1 Consumer Indemnity. The Consumer's indemnification obligation is limited to third-party claims arising from knowingly false, infringing, or unlawful Consumer Content. The Consumer is not required to indemnify the Company merely because a disputed Claim is unsuccessful.
14. Termination
14.1 By You. You may terminate Your account at any time by contacting the Company. Termination of Your account does not affect a Claim Services Authorization You have executed, which is governed by its own terms. The Consumer retains ownership and control of the Claim after account termination.
14.2 By the Company. The Company may suspend or terminate Your account for violation of these Terms, submission of fraudulent reports, or other conduct that the Company determines, in its good-faith judgment, is harmful to the Platform, other users, or Businesses. The Company will provide notice of termination and the reason for termination, except where notice would be prohibited by law or would reasonably risk harm to the Platform or another person.
14.3 Effect of Termination. Upon termination, Your right to access the Platform ceases, subject to any access or communication rights under an applicable Claim Services Authorization. Account termination does not transfer, impair, or otherwise affect the Consumer's ownership of any Claim. Termination does not revoke a Consumer's acceptance of a settlement or other decision made by the Consumer before termination.
15. Governing Law and Forum
15.1 Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of the Consumer's residence, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
15.2 Forum. Any action arising from these Terms may be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in the county of the Consumer's residence. The Company consents to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
15.3 No Class Action Waiver. These Terms do not waive the Consumer's right to participate in a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action to the extent permitted by applicable law.
16. Notices and Contact
16.1 Notices. Notices to the Company must be sent through the Platform or by mail to REPORT A SCAM LLC, 5830 E 2nd St Ste 7000, Casper, Wyoming 82609, and by email to legal@reportascam.com. Notices to the Consumer or Business are given through the Platform dashboard or to the email address on file. Notices are deemed received on the earlier of actual receipt or the first business day after transmission.
16.2 Contact Information. For questions about these Terms, contact:

17. Miscellaneous
17.1 Entire Agreement. These Terms, the Consumer Privacy Policy, and any Claim Services Authorization or separate purchase terms accepted by the Consumer constitute the entire agreement between the Consumer and the Company regarding their respective subject matters and supersede prior or contemporaneous communications concerning those subject matters.
17.2 Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
17.3 Amendment. The Company may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to You by email or through a notice on the Platform at least thirty (30) days before the effective date. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If You do not agree to the updated Terms, You must stop using the Platform.
17.4 No Waiver. The failure of the Company to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce that provision in the future.
17.5 Assignment. The Consumer may not transfer these Terms without the Company's consent. The Company may assign these Terms to an affiliate or successor that assumes the Company's obligations. No assignment of these Terms transfers ownership of the Consumer's Claim.
17.6 Headings. Headings are for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of these Terms.
17.7 Survival. The following provisions survive termination of these Terms and of the Consumer's account: Section 4 (Content Standards and User Conduct), including Section 4.2 (Content License); Section 5 (Business Public Profiles); Section 8 (Intellectual Property); Section 9 (Disclaimers); Section 11 (Platform Dispute Procedures); Section 12 (Limitation of Liability); Section 13 (Indemnification); Section 14.3 (Effect of Termination); Section 15 (Governing Law and Forum); Section 16 (Notices and Contact); and Section 17 (Miscellaneous).
18. Acceptance
18.1 Clickwrap Acceptance. By selecting the acceptance checkbox or other affirmative acceptance control presented by the Platform and then creating an account, submitting a report, requesting Administrative Services, or otherwise accessing the Platform, the Consumer separately affirms acceptance of these Terms. Acceptance of these Terms is separate from, and does not substitute for, the Consumer's separate affirmative acceptance of each fee schedule or subscription renewal term, any dispute resolution provision presented in a separate agreement, and any recurring charge authorization, each of which will be presented separately when applicable.
18.2 Electronic Records. The Consumer consents to use electronic records and signatures in connection with these Terms, including under the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act. The Platform will provide a retrievable copy of these Terms and the Consumer's acceptance record.
