CLAIM SERVICES AUTHORIZATION
1. Introduction and Prominent Notice
1.1 Prominent Notice. THIS AUTHORIZATION PERMITS REPORT A SCAM LLC TO PROVIDE ADMINISTRATIVE CLAIM SERVICES AT YOUR DIRECTION. YOU RETAIN ALL OWNERSHIP AND CONTROL OF YOUR CLAIM. THIS AUTHORIZATION DOES NOT ASSIGN YOUR CLAIM OR GRANT REPORT A SCAM LLC A POWER OF ATTORNEY.
1.2 Parties. This Claim Services Authorization ("Authorization") is entered into as of May 4, 2026 by and between {{consumer_full_name}} (the "Consumer," "you," or "your") and REPORT A SCAM LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, with an address at 5830 E 2nd St Ste 7000, Casper, Wyoming 82609 (the "Company," "we," "us," or "our"). The Consumer and the Company are each a "Party" and together the "Parties."
1.3 Purpose. The Consumer submitted or will submit a Transactional Report concerning the Business identified in Exhibit A and wishes to authorize the Company to provide Administrative Services with respect to the Claim. This Authorization establishes the limited terms on which those Administrative Services will be provided.
1.4 Effective Date. This Authorization is effective on the Effective Date. The Consumer confirms that the Claim Details in Exhibit A identify the Claim for which the Consumer requests Administrative Services.
1.5 Limited Authorization. The Consumer authorizes only the Administrative Services expressly described in this Authorization. The Consumer does not authorize the Company to make legal determinations, take legal action, decide whether a Claim is viable, agree to any term for the Consumer, or exercise any right that belongs to the Consumer. The Consumer may use the Platform to request, review, modify, or stop Administrative Services, subject to the record-retention and prior-communication provisions of this Authorization.
1.6 No Commitment by Business. This Authorization does not create any obligation for the Business to respond, negotiate, pay, refund, provide a credit, or resolve the Claim. The Consumer understands that the Company cannot compel a Business to take any action and cannot guarantee that the Business will use the Platform or respond to a Claim Notice.
2. Definitions
2.1 "Administrative Services" means technology-based and administrative services provided by the Company through the Platform at the Consumer's direction, including organization of Consumer-supplied information, transmission of Claim Notices, facilitation of communications, transmission of offers and responses without alteration, recording of Claim Status, and other nonlegal services described in the applicable agreement. Administrative Services do not include legal advice, legal representation, claim ownership, settlement acceptance or rejection, filing or prosecution of proceedings, or receipt of settlement funds.
2.2 "Business" means a person, entity, or organization identified in a report submitted through the Platform as the subject of a Consumer's Opinion Report or Transactional Report.
2.3 "Claim" means a Transactional Report submitted by a Consumer who has requested Administrative Services under a Claim Services Authorization. The Consumer retains ownership and settlement control of the Claim at all times.
2.4 "Claim Details" means the information in Exhibit A concerning the Consumer, the Business, the transaction or occurrence, the amount in dispute, supporting documents, prior resolution attempts, and contact information.
2.5 "Claim Notice" means a factual communication prepared from Consumer-supplied information and transmitted by the Company at the Consumer's direction regarding the Claim. A Claim Notice does not state legal conclusions, select legal claims or remedies, or bind the Consumer.
2.6 "Claim Services Authorization" means the agreement between the Consumer and the Company under which the Consumer authorizes the Company to provide Administrative Services with respect to a Claim. The Claim Services Authorization does not assign the Claim, grant a power of attorney, or transfer settlement authority to the Company.
2.7 "Claim Status" means a general, publicly displayable indicator of the current stage of a Claim (for example, "Submitted," "Notice Sent," "Response Received," "Resolution Process Active," or "Resolved"). Claim Status does not include the Claim amount, Transactional Report narrative, supporting documents, or Consumer identity.
2.8 "Company" means REPORT A SCAM LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, with an address at 5830 E 2nd St Ste 7000, Casper, Wyoming 82609.
2.9 "Consumer" means an individual who creates an account on the Platform and submits a report or requests Administrative Services.
2.10 "Consumer Content" means information, data, text, images, documents, and other materials submitted to or through the Platform by or on behalf of a Consumer, including Opinion Reports, Transactional Reports, supporting documents, and communications.
2.11 "Opinion Report" means a Consumer-submitted report expressing the Consumer's opinion about a Business or transaction. Opinion Reports may be displayed publicly, subject to the Consumer Terms of Service.
2.12 "Platform" means the technology platform operated by the Company at reportascam.com, including associated websites, applications, portals, tools, and services.
2.13 "Resolution" means an outcome concerning the Claim, including a payment, credit, refund, replacement, agreement, or other response from the Business, that the Consumer accepts or otherwise completes. A Resolution is not accepted, executed, or controlled by the Company.
2.14 "Transactional Report" means a Consumer-submitted report that describes a specific commercial transaction and may form the basis of a Claim. Transactional Report narratives and supporting documents are not published without separate consent.
3. Ownership of Claim; No Power of Attorney; Revocation
3.1 Ownership of Claim. The Consumer retains all right, title, and interest in the Claim. Nothing in this Authorization assigns or transfers the Claim or any cause of action, demand, payment right, remedy, or other legal interest to the Company.
3.2 No Power of Attorney. This Authorization does not appoint the Company as the Consumer's attorney-in-fact or authorize the Company to act in the Consumer's name in any legal, administrative, arbitral, or judicial proceeding.
3.3 Revocation. The Consumer may revoke this Authorization at any time without charge by using the Platform or contacting the Company. Revocation does not affect communications transmitted before revocation or records that the Company is required or reasonably permitted to retain.
3.4 Effect of Revocation. Following revocation, the Company will end prospective Administrative Services for the Claim within a commercially reasonable time and will not transmit new communications for the Claim unless the Consumer separately requests services under a new authorization. Revocation does not alter any decision, settlement, release, filing, communication, or other act independently made by the Consumer before revocation.
4. Authorized Administrative Services and Express Prohibitions
4.1 Authorized Administrative Services. The Consumer authorizes the Company to organize information supplied by the Consumer, transmit a factual Claim Notice at the Consumer's direction, provide secure access to approved supporting documents, facilitate communications, transmit offers and responses without alteration, record claim status, and provide other administrative services requested through the Platform.
4.2 Express Prohibitions. The Company may not provide legal advice, select claims or remedies, accept or reject a settlement, release the Claim, sign for the Consumer, file or prosecute a proceeding, represent the Consumer, receive settlement funds, or retain counsel on the Consumer's behalf.
4.3 Consumer Direction. The Consumer is responsible for determining the information, documents, messages, offers, and responses the Consumer wishes the Company to organize or transmit. The Company may request clarification or additional information necessary to provide Administrative Services, but the Company does not decide what legal position the Consumer should take or what remedy the Consumer should seek.
4.4 Communications and Records. The Company may record the Claim Status and maintain copies of Consumer Content, Business communications, and service records as necessary to provide the Administrative Services, operate the Platform, respond to the Consumer's requests, and comply with the Consumer Privacy Policy.
4.5 Claim Notice Review. Before asking the Company to transmit a Claim Notice, the Consumer is responsible for reviewing the factual information the Consumer supplies and confirming that the requested communication accurately reflects the Consumer's position. The Company may format a Claim Notice for secure electronic transmission, identify the Claim Reference Number, attach Consumer-approved supporting documents, and identify the Consumer as the source of the communication. The Company will not add legal conclusions, demand a particular legal remedy, alter the Consumer's offer or response, or make a representation on the Consumer's behalf.
4.6 Delivery and Receipt. The Company may transmit a Consumer-approved communication through Platform tools, email, other available electronic channels, or another method selected by the Consumer through the Platform. A transmission by the Company is an administrative delivery service and is not a certification that the communication was received, read, accepted, or legally sufficient. The Company may record available delivery information and any response received for the Consumer's review.
4.7 Documents and Access. The Consumer may request secure access to Consumer-approved supporting documents and records available through the Platform. The Consumer remains responsible for deciding whether a document should be provided to the Business, an attorney, a government agency, or any other person. The Company may decline to transmit a document that presents a reasonable security, technical, privacy, or legal-compliance concern and may ask the Consumer to provide a corrected, redacted, or alternative copy.
4.8 Service Availability. Administrative Services depend on the availability of the Platform, communication networks, and third-party systems. The Company may maintain, update, suspend, or limit Platform functions as reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or service integrity. The Company will use commercially reasonable efforts to provide notice through the Platform when a material planned interruption is expected to affect active Claim communications.
5. Consumer Settlement Control and Settlement Payments
5.1 Consumer Settlement Control. The Consumer has sole authority to accept, reject, compromise, or release the Claim. The Company may transmit settlement offers and responses without alteration but may not accept an offer, execute a settlement, release the Claim, or bind the Consumer.
5.2 Settlement Payments. Any settlement payment must be made directly to the Consumer or through a licensed payment provider. The Company will not receive, hold, or transmit settlement funds for the Consumer. No Company fee will be deducted from the Consumer's recovery.
5.3 Consumer Action Required. The Consumer must personally review and decide whether to accept, reject, or respond to any settlement proposal, payment offer, credit, refund, release, or other proposed Resolution. The Consumer must personally execute any settlement agreement or release that the Consumer chooses to accept.
5.4 Status Updates. The Consumer will promptly inform the Company of any direct settlement, payment, release, or material change in the Claim so that the Platform records may be updated accurately. The Company may transmit that information or record the resulting Claim Status without altering the Consumer's rights or decisions.
5.5 Separate Consumer-Business Arrangements. Any settlement, release, refund, credit, payment plan, replacement, or other agreement concerning the Claim is an arrangement between the Consumer and the Business. The Consumer must determine whether the terms are acceptable and may seek independent counsel before agreeing to them. The Company is not a party to that arrangement merely because the Company transmitted a communication, displayed a proposed term, recorded Claim Status, or provided Administrative Services.
5.6 Payment Information. The Consumer must provide payment-routing information directly to the Business or to a licensed payment provider selected for the Consumer-Business transaction. The Company will not request account credentials or payment instructions for the purpose of receiving Claim-related settlement funds, and the Consumer should not send any Claim-related payment to the Company.
6. Nonexclusive Services
6.1 Nonexclusive Services. The Consumer may communicate directly with the Business, retain counsel, file a proceeding, or use other lawful resolution methods at any time. The Consumer shall notify the Company of any direct settlement, payment, or material status change so that Platform records can be updated.
6.2 No Restriction on Consumer Action. Nothing in this Authorization restricts the Consumer from contacting government agencies, posting truthful reviews, seeking legal advice, making a complaint, communicating with the Business, or taking any other lawful action concerning the Claim.
6.3 Direct Communications. The Consumer may respond directly to a Business at any time, even after asking the Company to transmit communications through the Platform. The Consumer is not required to route communications through the Company and is not required to wait for the Company before responding to a deadline, offer, payment, or other Business communication. The Consumer should update the Platform when a direct communication materially affects the Claim so that records can remain current.
7. Independent Attorneys
7.1 Independent Attorneys. At the Consumer's request, the Platform may provide information about independent attorneys. The Consumer and attorney independently determine whether to enter an attorney-client relationship. The attorney controls intake, conflicts, legal analysis, strategy, scope, fees, and work product. Attorney fees are paid directly to the attorney.
7.2 Attorney Independence. At the Consumer's request, the Platform may provide information about independent attorneys. The Consumer and attorney independently determine whether to enter an attorney-client relationship. The attorney controls intake, conflicts review, legal analysis, strategy, scope, fees, and work product. Attorney fees are established and collected by the attorney under the engagement agreement. The Company does not receive or share attorney fees.
7.3 No Attorney Engagement by Company. The Company does not select counsel for the Consumer, conduct conflicts review for an attorney, direct legal work, control attorney strategy, or become a party to an attorney-client relationship. If the Consumer engages an attorney, the Consumer and the attorney determine the handling of the Claim under their separate engagement agreement.
7.4 Information for Counsel. If the Consumer asks the Company to provide available Claim information to an independent attorney, the Company may make that information available as directed by the Consumer and as permitted by the Consumer Privacy Policy. The Consumer is responsible for deciding what information to provide and for completing any attorney intake, conflict, engagement, or authorization process requested by the attorney. The Company does not determine whether the attorney should receive the information or whether an attorney-client relationship should be formed.
8. Consumer Representations and Responsibilities
8.1 Truthfulness. The Consumer represents and warrants that all Consumer Content and information provided in connection with the Claim, including the Claim Details in Exhibit A, is true, accurate, and complete to the best of the Consumer's knowledge. The Consumer will promptly correct any material inaccuracy or omission that the Consumer discovers.
8.2 Cooperation. The Consumer will reasonably cooperate with requests for additional factual information, documents, confirmations, or instructions needed for the Company to provide the authorized Administrative Services. The Consumer is not required by this Authorization to provide legal analysis, waive any right, sign a settlement or release, commence a proceeding, or take any action that the Consumer does not choose to take.
8.3 Identity Verification. The Consumer will complete any identity-verification process reasonably required to protect the Consumer, the Platform, and Claim communications. The Consumer represents that identity credentials and information submitted for verification are authentic and belong to the Consumer. The Company may pause Administrative Services while reasonably necessary to verify identity or address a suspected security concern.
8.4 Supporting Documents and Prior Attempts. The Consumer will identify the supporting documents available to substantiate the Claim and describe any prior resolution attempts with the Business, or explain why direct resolution was not attempted. The Consumer may supplement the Claim Details at any time through the Platform.
8.5 Account Security. The Consumer will take reasonable steps to protect the Consumer's Platform account, credentials, and communications. The Consumer will promptly notify the Company through the Platform if the Consumer believes that an account, device, or communication channel has been accessed without authorization or that a Claim communication was transmitted in error. The Company may take reasonable measures to protect the account and the Claim record after receiving such notice.
8.6 Consumer Decisions. The Consumer is solely responsible for deciding whether to communicate with the Business, request a Claim Notice, accept or reject a proposed Resolution, retain an attorney, file a proceeding, make a complaint, or take any other action concerning the Claim. The Consumer acknowledges that the Company may provide administrative information about Platform features but does not advise the Consumer about legal rights, deadlines, remedies, strategy, evidence, or the merits of a Claim.
8.7 Accuracy of Directions. When the Consumer asks the Company to transmit a communication, the Consumer represents that the direction is authorized and that the Consumer has reviewed the intended recipients, factual content, and attachments. The Consumer will not ask the Company to transmit content that the Consumer knows is false, unlawful, infringing, threatening, harassing, or intended to impersonate another person. The Company may decline a requested transmission that reasonably appears inconsistent with this Authorization, Platform integrity, or applicable law.
9. Fees
9.1 No Fee for Authorized Services. No fee is charged for the Administrative Services authorized in this Authorization.
9.2 Optional Paid Services. The Company may offer optional paid nonlegal services, subscriptions, administrative tools, or Platform features under separate terms that clearly disclose the applicable charges and require the Consumer's affirmative acceptance before a charge is incurred. The Consumer is not required to purchase any optional paid service to use the Administrative Services authorized by this Authorization.
9.3 No Percentage-Based Fee. The Company does not charge a percentage-based fee calculated by reference to any money, credit, refund, reimbursement, compensation, or other amount received by the Consumer in connection with a Claim. The Company does not deduct any fee from a Consumer payment.
9.4 Separate Services and Attorneys. Any optional paid Company service is governed exclusively by its separate disclosed terms and is not consideration for the Claim or a payment right arising from the Claim. Attorney services, if any, are separately governed by an engagement agreement between the Consumer and the attorney, and attorney fees are established and collected by the attorney.
10. Term
10.1 Term. This Authorization continues until the earliest of resolution, revocation by the Consumer, termination by the Company after notice, transfer of active Claim management to engaged counsel, or 180 days after the Effective Date unless the Consumer affirmatively extends it.
10.2 Company Termination. The Company may terminate this Authorization after notice to the Consumer if the Company cannot provide the Administrative Services because of materially incomplete or inaccurate information, a security concern, misuse of the Platform, a legal or regulatory requirement, or another reasonable operational basis. A termination by the Company does not affect the Consumer's ownership or control of the Claim and does not prevent the Consumer from using another lawful resolution method.
10.3 Closure Record. Upon expiration or termination, the Company may provide a Claim Services Closure Notice identifying the end of Administrative Services and available records. The notice is an operational communication and does not alter the Consumer's rights in the Claim.
10.4 Effect of Expiration or Termination. When this Authorization ends, the Consumer remains free to communicate with the Business, use other lawful resolution methods, seek legal advice, retain independent counsel, or take any other action the Consumer chooses. The Company will not initiate or continue new Administrative Services for the Claim unless the Consumer makes a separate request through the Platform. Ending this Authorization does not require the Consumer to sign a release, pay a charge for the authorized Administrative Services, or give up any right relating to the Claim.
10.5 Records After Closure. After this Authorization ends, the Consumer may access available records through the Platform in accordance with the Consumer Privacy Policy and applicable Platform controls. The Consumer remains responsible for downloading, preserving, and using records that the Consumer wishes to retain for personal, legal, or other purposes. The Company may continue to retain or make available records as described in the Consumer Privacy Policy, but the Company has no duty to evaluate those records, advise the Consumer about their significance, or take further action concerning the Claim.
10.6 New Service Requests. A later request for Administrative Services concerning the Claim does not automatically reopen this Authorization. The Company may require the Consumer to submit updated Claim Details, complete current identity verification, review then-current service terms, or provide new affirmative instructions before providing any new service. Any later service remains subject to the Consumer's ownership and settlement control of the Claim.
11. Privacy and AI-Assisted Processing
11.1 Privacy. Personal information is processed under the Consumer Privacy Policy. The Company will share Claim information only as described in that policy and as directed or authorized by the Consumer.
11.2 AI-Assisted Processing. Classification may use automated tools subject to human review. Where required or offered, the Consumer may select human-only review, request information about the classification, correct relevant data, challenge the result, and request reassessment. Automated outputs do not initiate litigation, determine legal rights, or make a final non-viability decision.
11.3 Public Display. Only Opinion Reports, approved Business responses, general Claim Status, and aggregated information may be displayed publicly. Transactional Report narratives, Claim amounts, and supporting documents will not be publicly displayed without separate consent. Publication decisions operate independently from whether a Business pays, settles, disputes, or rejects a Claim.
11.4 Consumer Privacy Policy. The Consumer Privacy Policy governs the collection, use, sharing, retention, security, and deletion of personal information. The Consumer acknowledges the opportunity to review that policy before executing this Authorization.
11.5 Consumer Directions and Sharing. The Consumer may use Platform controls to direct communications, identify supporting documents for secure access, and request that the Company transmit Consumer-approved information. The Company will not make Transactional Report narratives, Claim amounts, or supporting documents publicly available without separate consent. Information directed to a Business, attorney, payment provider, or other recipient may be subject to that recipient's privacy practices and legal obligations.
11.6 Security and Retention. The Company maintains records only as described in the Consumer Privacy Policy and for the purposes permitted by that policy. The Company may retain communications transmitted before revocation or closure, execution records, and other records when required or reasonably permitted for security, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or operation of the Platform. The Consumer may request information about applicable privacy rights through the methods identified in the Consumer Privacy Policy.
11.7 Automated Tools. Automated tools may assist with organization, classification, document handling, and routing of Consumer Content, subject to the protections in Section 11.2. The Consumer may provide corrections or additional information through the Platform. The Consumer, not the Company or an automated tool, decides whether to communicate, settle, release, file a proceeding, or take another action concerning the Claim.
11.8 General Claim Status. The Company may maintain and, where permitted by the Consumer Terms of Service, display a general Claim Status for operational and informational purposes. A general Claim Status is not a legal conclusion, does not describe the merits or value of the Claim, and does not indicate that the Company has accepted a settlement, received a payment, or exercised control over the Claim. The Consumer may contact the Company through the Platform with questions concerning the accuracy of a recorded Claim Status.
12. Disclaimers and Consumer Disclosures
12.1 No Legal Services. The Company is not a law firm. The Company does not provide legal advice, legal opinions, or legal representation, does not select legal claims or remedies, and does not own or control any Consumer Claim.
12.2 No Guarantee of Outcome. The Company makes no representation or warranty regarding the validity, merit, value, enforceability, or likelihood of success of a Claim or any proposed Resolution. The Company's role is limited to the Administrative Services described in this Authorization, and the Company does not promise any payment, settlement, refund, credit, or other outcome.
12.3 Right to Independent Counsel. The Consumer has the right to consult and retain independent legal counsel before or after executing this Authorization. The Consumer is not required to consult or retain counsel to receive Administrative Services, and the Company does not provide advice about whether the Consumer should do so.
12.4 No Debt Collection Representation. This Authorization does not authorize the Company to collect a debt for the Consumer, receive money for the Consumer, or make legal demands in the Consumer's name. The Company provides technology and administrative services only.
12.5 Consumer Responsibility for Legal Matters. The Consumer is responsible for obtaining independent legal advice concerning legal rights, claims, remedies, deadlines, statutes of limitation, releases, settlement terms, court procedures, or the consequences of any action or inaction. The Company does not monitor legal deadlines or promise that a Claim Notice, Platform communication, or other Administrative Service will preserve a legal right or satisfy a legal requirement.
13. Limitation of Liability and Consumer Indemnity
13.1 Limitation of Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company's aggregate liability arising from this Authorization will not exceed the greater of amounts paid by the Consumer to the Company during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to liability or one hundred dollars ($100). This limitation does not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or liability that cannot be limited by law.
13.2 Exclusion of Certain Damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from this Authorization. This Section 13.2 does not limit any liability that Section 13.1 states cannot be limited by law.
13.3 Consumer Indemnity. The Consumer's indemnification obligation is limited to third-party claims arising from knowingly false, infringing, or unlawful Consumer Content. The Consumer is not required to indemnify the Company merely because a disputed Claim is unsuccessful.
13.4 Consumer Protections Preserved. Nothing in this Section 13 limits a right or remedy that applicable law does not permit the Parties to limit. If any limitation or exclusion is held unenforceable, it will be applied only to the minimum extent permitted by law, and the remainder of this Authorization will remain effective.
14. Governing Law, Forum, and No Class Action Waiver
14.1 Governing Law. This Authorization is governed by the laws of the state of the Consumer's residence, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
14.2 Forum. Any action arising from this Authorization may be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in the county of the Consumer's residence. The Company consents to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
14.3 No Class Action Waiver. These Terms do not waive the Consumer's right to participate in a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action to the extent permitted by applicable law.
15. Electronic Execution and Consent
15.1 Electronic Signature. This Authorization may be executed electronically. The Consumer's electronic signature has the same legal effect, validity, and enforceability as a handwritten signature under the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act as adopted in the Consumer's state of residence.
15.2 Consent to Electronic Records. By executing this Authorization electronically, the Consumer consents to receive this Authorization and related records, notices, disclosures, and communications electronically, subject to the disclosures in this Section 15.
15.3 Right to Paper Records and Withdrawal of Consent. The Consumer has the right to receive this Authorization and related records in paper form and may withdraw consent to electronic records at any time by contacting the Company through the Platform, by mail at the notice address in Section 16.1, or by email at legal@reportascam.com. Withdrawal does not affect the validity of this Authorization or records provided before withdrawal, but may limit the Company's ability to communicate electronically about the Claim. The Company will process a withdrawal request within a reasonable period not to exceed fifteen (15) business days.
15.4 Paper Copies. The Consumer may obtain a paper copy of this Authorization or any electronic record by contacting the Company through the Platform, by mail at the notice address in Section 16.1, or by email at legal@reportascam.com. No fee will be charged for a paper copy.
15.5 Hardware and Software Requirements. To access and retain electronic records, the Consumer needs a device with internet access, a current web browser, a valid email address, and sufficient electronic storage space or a printer. By executing electronically, the Consumer confirms that the Consumer can access information in the electronic format used for this Authorization.
15.6 Audit Trail. The Company will maintain an execution record that may include the date and time of execution, the version of this Authorization presented, the Consumer's electronic-signature information, device and browser information, IP address, and identity-verification metadata. Execution and acceptance records are retained for seven (7) years from the date of execution.
15.7 Downloadable Copy. Upon execution, the Consumer will receive a complete downloadable copy of this Authorization, including Exhibit A, through the Platform or at the email address on file.
15.8 Updating Contact Information. The Consumer is responsible for keeping the email address and other contact information associated with the Platform account current. The Consumer may update that information through the Platform. The Company may use the Consumer's email address on file and Platform dashboard to provide electronic records and notices under this Authorization, subject to the Consumer's rights in Section 15.3.
16. Notices, Survival, and Miscellaneous
16.1 Notices. Notices to the Company must be sent through the Platform or by mail to REPORT A SCAM LLC, 5830 E 2nd St Ste 7000, Casper, Wyoming 82609, and by email to legal@reportascam.com. Notices to the Consumer or Business are given through the Platform dashboard or to the email address on file. Notices are deemed received on the earlier of actual receipt or the first business day after transmission.
16.2 Survival. Sections 2 (Definitions), 3 (Ownership of Claim; No Power of Attorney; Revocation), 5 (Consumer Settlement Control and Settlement Payments), 7 (Independent Attorneys), 8 (Consumer Representations and Responsibilities), 11 (Privacy and AI-Assisted Processing), 12 (Disclaimers and Consumer Disclosures), 13 (Limitation of Liability and Consumer Indemnity), 14 (Governing Law, Forum, and No Class Action Waiver), 15 (Electronic Execution and Consent), and 16 (Notices, Survival, and Miscellaneous), together with Exhibit A to the extent necessary to identify the Claim and preserve records, survive expiration, revocation, or termination of this Authorization.
16.3 Entire Authorization. This Authorization, including Exhibit A, constitutes the entire agreement between the Parties concerning the Administrative Services for the Claim and supersedes prior or contemporaneous communications concerning that subject matter.
16.4 Severability. If any provision of this Authorization is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
16.5 Amendments. Any amendment to this Authorization must be in a written record signed or electronically accepted by both Parties, except that the Consumer may revoke this Authorization as provided in Section 3.3.
16.6 Counterparts. This Authorization may be executed in counterparts, including electronic counterparts, each of which is deemed an original and all of which together constitute one instrument.
16.7 Assignment. The Consumer may not transfer this Authorization without the Company's consent. The Company may assign this Authorization to an affiliate or successor that assumes the Company's obligations. No assignment of this Authorization transfers ownership of the Consumer's Claim.
16.8 No Waiver. A Party's failure to enforce any provision of this Authorization is not a waiver of that provision or of the right to enforce it later.
16.9 Headings. Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
16.10 Relationship of the Parties. The Parties are independent. This Authorization does not create an employment, partnership, joint venture, fiduciary, agency, attorney-client, or other representative relationship between the Consumer and the Company. The Company may provide Administrative Services at the Consumer's direction but has no authority to make decisions or commitments for the Consumer.
17. Electronic Acceptance
17.1 Click-Wrap Acceptance. The Consumer may accept this Authorization by selecting a checkbox or similar affirmative action on the Platform that states: "I have read and agree to the Claim Services Authorization." Clicking "Submit" or a similar button after selecting the checkbox constitutes the Consumer's electronic signature and acceptance of this Authorization.
17.2 Effect of Electronic Acceptance. Electronic acceptance under Section 17.1 has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature under applicable electronic-signature law, including E-SIGN and UETA where applicable.
17.3 Record of Acceptance. Upon electronic acceptance, the Platform records the Consumer's identity, the date and time of acceptance, the version of this Authorization accepted, and the IP address from which acceptance was made. This record constitutes conclusive evidence of the Consumer's agreement to the terms of this Authorization.
17.4 Claim Details. The Claim details — including the Consumer's name, the Business name, the Claim reference number, transaction description, transaction date, amount in dispute, and supporting documents — are captured through the Platform's report submission process and are incorporated by reference into this Authorization. The Consumer may review and update these details through the Platform, subject to the Consumer's representations in Section 8.
17.5 Retrievable Copy. The Consumer may access a retrievable copy of this Authorization at any time through the Platform or by requesting one at the contact information provided in Section 14.
